In reply to Danielle. This is definitely a new recipe --I've made this recipe for years and was so confused when I read the ingredient list this time around. Jamie's comment below has the original recipe (which was really good, I don't know why it got changed).

I have tried making chili at home several times over the last few years with little success. This recipe changed that for me. It’s super easy, is customizable with inexpensive ingredients, and makes 6 generous servings for us. I’ve made this recipe several times now since it arrived in my inbox and it has become a favorite in this household. It will now be a part of my regular Autumn/Winter meal planning. Thank you!!

Hey! We have loved your five ingredient chili recipe. It looks like you have adjusted your recipe? Did the original just have a plain can of tomatoes instead of the tomato sauce? Also you just used chili powder before instead of taco seasoning? Did you have onion in it as well?

This turned out so good! Since I was feeding little kids, I used one can of fire roasted tomatoes and one plain diced tomatoes and I had no complaints! It’s definitely my new go-to chili. Thank you for sharing :)
